General Policies
1 Portugal Expert® – Vitor Pais has a tourist entertainment license number – 333/2022. This certification can be consulted at any time with Turismo de Portugal or at one of its branches around the world. Of course, the best proof of our quality is the feedback given by our customers, which you can consult on our website (Portugalexpert.pt) and on our TripAdvisor page.
2 Portugal Expert® – Vitor Pais tours are fully covered by the mandatory insurance for this activity, including:
Civil Liability Insurance
Traffic Insurance
Personal Accident Insurance
3 On our website, at portugalexpert.pt, you will find a detailed description of each of our tours, as well as what is included. Any items not listed in the ‘included’ field are not included in the price of the tour.
4 Visits with specialized local guides must be requested when booking the tour.
5 Unless otherwise indicated, our tours do not include meals for guests.
6 The listed price for the tours is the total price per group, according to the number of participants.
7 Our tours are led by specialized guides who work exclusively with us. Their knowledge, derived from their consolidated training and daily experience, is the key to showing you the hidden gems of our country. With them, you will experience true Portuguese authenticity and culture. All our guides are non-smokers.
1 – There is no minimum age to participate in our tours. The client agrees to inform us at the time of booking if there are children under 13 years old, so that we can provide the respective safety equipment, in accordance with applicable legislation and in order to guarantee maximum safety on board.
Booking & Payment Policies
1 All reservations will be made via email to info@portugalexpert.pt or on our website, using the online booking form.
2 The reservation is only valid when confirmed via email to info@portugalexpert.pt by Portugal Expert® – Vitor Pais.
3 Portugal Expert® – Vitor Pais reserves the right to cancel tours up to 48 hours after booking, and undertakes to fully refund any amounts already paid.
4 Cancellations are subject to the following penalties on the total price of the tour:
– Up to 30 days before arrival, no penalty is applied. Exceptions are entrance tickets, third party activities, hotel reservations and possible transaction fees. These will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the policy of each supplier;
– 30 days to 15 days before arrival: 20% penalty;
– Less than 15 days before arrival: 100% penalty. However, Portugal Expert® – Vitor Pais reserves the right to evaluate the possibility of making a partial refund.
