Description

This tour will bring you Ten days of pure visiting enjoyment. We will cover historical, cultural and traditional Portugal.

Starting in the capital, Lisbon, with its seven hills and the magic of its day-light, we will also cover the cosmopolitan surrounding areas of Cascais and Estoril and the romantic world of Sintra.

Porto will be our next destination: the city of the Douro River, the Port wine, one the most beautiful bookshops in the world: Lello’s Bookstore and the Ribeira water front. We set aside a day to enjoy the Douro Valley, a unique landscape built over thousands of years by generations of winemakers, a place where Port wine rules.

The Minho region is introduced through the city of Guimaraes, the “cradle” of Portuguese Nation, and Braga, the city of the archbishops.

Heading back south we’ll visit some amazing cities and villages like Aveiro, the Portuguese Venice, and Obidos the walled-in medieval town.
